The Show Must Go On

I recently did a podcast with Karen about courtroom bloopers and it reminded me of a CLE blooper.

On September 19, Karen, wonderful paralegal Jesica, and I spoke at the WSAJ annual convention about the Ride the Ducks case. It’s hard to tell from the above picture but there were intense lights shining right on us from the sides. As we were sitting on stage waiting for the audience to file back in after break, Jesica turns to me and attempts to be helpful:

J: You’ve got a white hair on your forehead.

Me: (wipes brow) k thanks.

J: It’s still there. I can get it.

Me: (sheepishly) No I’m good it’s fine.

J: No let me get it, it’s massive and sticking out.

Me: No really you can leave it. I get mutant eyebrow hairs and it’s not going anywhere right now.

J: No seriously there’s no way that’s attached. (Grabs for it). OMG is that attached?!!!!! There’s no way. I thought it was a cat hair or something!

Announcer: Thank you everyone we are going to get started with our next presentation.
